Philosophy of Education

Hello everyone! My name is Ms. Perez and I am so excited about having your child in my classroom and I am extremely excited to start the school year. I am very passionate about teaching and I love being around students. I am a very fun person as well am a very well rounded teacher. I look at my classroom as if we were all a family and I hope that you also join in with us as parents. With the encouragement of both of us I am very sure that our students are going to be very successful learners. Teacher's roles to me is to make sure that each and every student is taken care of and watched while in my classroom. Also that me as the teacher it is my responsibilty to make sure that each of the students are aware of the classroom rules and see me as their role model. The expectations that I expect from each of my students is that they respect me as their teacher as well as their peers. Also that the students are aware that the classroom is a safe place that they are going to be able to learn and feel comfortable in. I expect each of my students to act as adults and to complete any assignment that is needed to be completed by the due date. The class will also have rules in which they have to abide by. The students need to treat others the way in which they would like to be treated. Late work will not be accepted unless he or she has a resonable reason. Be prepared for class and have all materials that are needed. And absolutely no cursing in the classroom.
